Refund policy

The short version

14 days, no interrogation. If a ForgeDSP plugin is not working out, email us within 14 days of purchase and we refund you. We only ask two things: tell us what went wrong (it makes the plugins better), and where a free demo exists, try it before you buy, because that is better for both of us.

The full policy

Window. Refund requests are accepted within 14 days of the purchase date.

How to ask. Email transmissionrecieved@gmail.com from the email you purchased with. Include your order number. "It's not for me" is an acceptable reason; we may ask one or two questions to understand, not to argue.

What happens. We refund to your original payment method via Shopify. Processing typically takes 3 to 10 business days depending on your bank. Your license key is deactivated and your license to use the software ends, per the EULA. You must uninstall the plugin.

Demos exist for a reason. Where a free demo is available, we encourage trying it first. A demo answers "does it work in my DAW, on my machine, for my music" for free. We will not refuse a refund because you skipped the demo, but we will point future-you at it.

Technical problems are not a refund conveyor. If the plugin is misbehaving, email support first: most install and activation issues are fixed in one reply. If we cannot fix your issue, you get the refund and an apology.

Abuse. Repeated buy-refund cycles, chargebacks filed instead of refund requests, or key sharing followed by a refund request can lead to refusal of future refunds or sales. We assume good faith until shown otherwise.

Statutory rights. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country (including the US, UK, Canada, and Australia). Where local law gives you more than this policy, local law wins.

Intro pricing. Refunds are for the amount actually paid. Refunding an intro-priced purchase and re-buying later at full price is a bad trade; do not do it out of principle.

Questions before buying? Email us. Talking someone out of a purchase that will not fit them is cheaper than a refund and better for the reviews.
